Richard H. "Dick" Bauman, 84
of 4543 Oak Ridge Road, Olanta died on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside Hospital.
He was born on January 7, 1919 in Faunce, PA, a son of the late Newton H and Georgiana (Livingston) Bauman.
Mr. Bauman was formerly employed at Harbison Walker Refractories, Hiram Swank and Sons, Penelec and retired from TAFCO.
He was a member of the Osceola Free and Accepted Masons, Lodge #515.
On November 17, 1939 in Brookville, he wed the former Nina G. Lockett who survives along with a daughter
Barbara Polkinghorn and husband C. William Clearfield
a grandson,
Christopher Polkinghorn and wife Christine Harrisburg
2 great grandsons,
Christopher William Polkinghorn
Skylar Aidan Polkinghorn
a sister,
Marie Konkiel VA
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Tobey, an infant sister and two brothers Ken Bauman and Russ Bauman.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at Noon with Dr. Douglas S. Pride and Mr. Richard B. Barkley co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville RD.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from
11:00 A.M. Noon.
Masonic services will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Presbyterian Church, 119 E. Pine Street, Clearfield.
