Richard Bowman

Richard Lee Bowman, 64, of Woodland, passed away on March 12, 2025, at his home.

Richard was born November 1, 1960, in Clearfield, the son of Charles and Norma (Leonard) Bowman of Curwensville.

He graduated from Curwensville High School in 1978 as well as Penn State DuBois with an associates degree in Marketing and Accounting. Richard worked for various places in the community including A&P Grocery, Clearfield Bank & Trust, Bayer Cltohing, Combined Insurance, American General Insurance, and Lowe's. He used to enjoy fishing with his nephews and had attended Grace United Methodist Church in Philisburg.

Richard is survived by his parents, Charles and Norma Bowman of Curwensville; his wife Tracey (Butler) Bowman of Woodland; two sisters, Carol Barton of Clearfield and Karen Miranda of the Pittsburgh area; a niece, Macy Barton; three sisters-in-law, Michelle Palmgren of Clearfield, Valerie Read and husband Scott of Clearfield, and Shari Metz and husband Ron of Woodland; four brothers-in-law, Russell Butler of Woodland, Tim Butler and wife Connie of Clearfield, Stuart Butler of Clearfield, and Clare Pannebaker of Bigler.

Richard is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Bobbi Pannebaker.

A public memorial service will be held on announce in the near future.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 912 E Pine St, Philipsburg, PA 16866; or a charity of the donors choice.
