Richard D. 'Dick' Graham, 79, of Clearfield died on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at his home.
He was born on March 4, 1944 in Clearfield, a son of the late Lester G and Agnes Ollie (Bowman) Graham.
Mr. Graham had been employed by numerous coal companies as a heavy equipment operator. Most recently, he worked as a school bus driver for Fullington School Bus from 2005-2022. In his spare time, he loved to fish, hunt and watch the Steelers and Pirates. He also had a green thumb for gardening both vegetables and flowers. He also cherished hanging out with his grandson and little buddy, Lucas.
Mr. Graham served from 1962-1967 with the U. S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Janice M. (Elridge) Graham whom he wed November 5, 1983 in Glen Richey; three children, Richard Graham, Jr. of Kansas City, MO, Michael Graham of Wallaceton, and Stacie Graham and grandson Lucas of Clearfield; a brother, Jerry Graham and wife Joyce of Clearfield; three sisters, Pamela Johnson and husband Gerald of Curwensville, Linda Jane Leigey and husband Terry of Clearfield, and Marian Graham of Clearfield; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy; a son, Matthew; twin grandchildren; and a brother, Lester Graham.
A memorial service will be held at the Primitive Methodist Church, Glen Richey, on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2 PM with Rev. Duane Stiner officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Primitive Methodist Church, 59 White Church Road, Glen Richey, PA 16837.
