Robert E. Brown, 83, passed away on February 17, 2025 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
He was born August 10, 1941, the son of Earl and Helen (Cowden) Brown.
Robert was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #540, Clearfield, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #97, Clearfield, and the Trinity United Methodist Church of Clearfield. He was also past Chairman of PA Coal Association, a former member of CNB Bank Board of Directors, and a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association.
He was owner and President of E.M. Brown Inc. and the former Clearfield Equipment Company.
Robert is survived by his sons, Robert A. Brown and wife Shellie of Clearfield, Mark Brown and wife Jennifer New Bern, NC, and Darryl C. Miller and fiance Alicia Bumbarger of Philipsburg; and his companion and best friend of 43 years, Linda Miller and her children, Donald C. Miller II, and Lori Fischer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Allan Brown.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
