Robert L. Frankhouser, 76
formerly of Clearfield died on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
He was born on August 22, 1929 in Curwensville, a son of the late Lynn E. and Nellie Pearl (Root) Frankhouser.
Mr. Frankhouser was employed in the textiles industry as a cutter having worked 4 years at the former Target Sportswear, Clearfield and for 16 years at Charles Navasky and Co., Philipsburg.
He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Curwensville American Legion Joshua Earl Sipes Post #505 and the Curwensville Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Cheatle and husband Wayne of Penfield
three grandsons, Robert Bush, Tristan Cheatle and Ian Cheatle
a brother, Irvin L. Frankhouser of Philipsburg
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at
11:30 A.M. with Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the Clearfield VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 11:30 AM.
