Robert Horm

Robert B. 'Tuffy' Horm Jr., 72, of Penfield and formally of Clearfield passed away June 24, 2023 at his home.

Robert was born on July 4, 1950, the son of Robert B. and Marlene Horm.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Due to injuries he received in the conflict, he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a great grandson, Josiah J. Horm.

Robert is survived by his mother; a son, Clint Robert Horm of Clearfield; and was 'Pappy Tuffy' to his four grandchildren, Christopher Horm, Erika Horn, Caleb Horm, and Alexis Horm. Also surviving are four great grandchildren, Bryson, Addyson, Dawson, and Esmeray; and a sister, Cindy Daub.

He was a member of the Clearfield American Legion, Clearfield Eagles, Curwensville Moose, Penfield Fireman's Club, and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was one of the three remaining members of the 'Old Timer's Gang.'

At Robert's request, there will be no public services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Robert was a very social person who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
