Ronald L. "Slink" Butler, Jr. 47

of Grampian died on Sunday, October 26, 2003 at his residence.

He was born on May 7, 1956 in Clearfield, PA, a son of Ronald L. and Helen (McCall) Butler, Sr. of Curwensville.

A 1974 graduate of Curwensville High School, Mr. Butler was a superintendent for Hepburnia Coal Company where he was employed for 27 years. He also was a co-owner of Jurassic Energy Company, Bigler. He was a member of the Grampian United Methodist Church and the Anderson Creek Sportsman's Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mary L. (Cable) Butler, whom he married May 1, 1976 in the Grampian United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Andrew and Dorothy McCall, his maternal step grandmother Grace McCall and his paternal grandparents Clair and Ann Butler.

A memorial service will be held at the Grampian United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Emmett Anderson officiating.

At Mr. Butler’s request there will be no public visitation.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice.
