Ronald G. Zortman, 86, of Clearfield died on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born on April 14, 1938 in Clearfield, a son of the late Daniel Jacob and Ruby (Keller) Zortman.
Mr. Zortman owned and operated his own landscaping business. He enjoyed playing checkers, gardening, western shows, and listening to his old records. You could always count of Ron to be smiling and have a joke for everyone. He was a member of attended EUB Church, Clearfield and then the Salvation Army. He was a kind and gentle soul.
He is survived by his brother, Allen Zortman of Bells Landing, as well as several nieces and nephews and other family members.
In honor of Mr. Zortman's wishes, there will be no services held.
Donations can be made in Ronald Zortman’s name to the Clearfield SPCA.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Luthersburg.
