Rosemary Rodi, 83
of Clearfield died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on February 1, 1923 in DuBois, a daughter of the late Carl W. and Veronica (Rogers) Wallin.
Mrs. Rodi was a homemaker.
She was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court #498 and the Rosary and Altar Society.
She is survived by three children, Georgiana Yingling and husband Michael of Clearfield, Nick Rodi and wife Peggy of Bethel Park, Dale Rodi and wife Diane of Carlisle,
seven grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Maria, Andy and Brian Rodi and Patrick and Abigail Yingling,
three brothers and a sister, James Wallin of Kenmore, NY, Carl Wallin and wife Lorraine of Amherst, NY, Eugene Wallin and wife Yvette of Pawtucket, RI and
Christine White of Kenmore, NY,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene M. Rodi on October 2, 1996 and whom she married September 21, 1947 in New York City, a brother William Wallin and a sister Dorothy (Wallin) Eckert.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.
