Roswell Ellsworth Frank Babcock III, 41, of Curwensville passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on March 30, 1982 in Clearfield, a son of the late Roswell Jr. and Suzette (Martell) Babcock.
Roswell worked as a tree trimmer with Arbor Pros. He was a race car driver for many years and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping.
He was a member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co., Curwensville; Grampian Penn Bloom Volunteer Fire Co.; Coyote Runners, and the Glen Richey Sportsmen's Club
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Baker) Babcock; a daughter, Breanna Babcock; a son, Hunter Babcock; two sisters, Jynell Smeal and husband Thomas Jr., and Jody Cowder; a niece, Destiny Martell Decker and husband Kevin; and father and mother-in-law, Ken and Teresa Snyder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Pat Snyder; grandmother, Gladys Martell; and an uncle, Hugh Martell.
Honoring Roswell's wishes, there will be no public services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville is in charge of the arrangements.
