Ruth Dian Mease

Ruth 'Dian' Mease, 76, of West Decatur died on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on April 23, 1947 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth (Louder) Mease.
Ms. Mease retired in 2010 from the Presbyterian Windy Hill Nursing Home, Philipsburg. Prior to that, she was employed with Berg Electronics, Navasky Sewing Factory and General Cigar. She also worked for both the Madera and Clearfield Ambulance Companies and the Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Quick Respond.
She was a member of Bigler United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Ms. Mease graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1966 and later graduated from the Clearfield Vocation Technical School as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She is a lifetime member of the Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Fire Police and Fire Company.
She is survived by her brother, Richard R. Mease of West Decatur; a sister, Kathy McGraw and husband Preston of West Moshannon; a brother-in-law, Gary Conrad of Morrisdale; one niece; two nephews; one great niece; one great nephew; and one great great nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Conrad.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Bigler Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
