Ruth A. Narehood, 74 of Clearfield died on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at her residence.
She was born on April 24, 1935 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Irwin) Cassidy.
Mrs. Narehood was a self-employed hairdresser for thirty years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by two daughters,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Monty W. Narehood on October 4, 2005 and whom she married February 23, 1952 at the First Baptist Church, Curwensville, a brother James Cassidy and a sister Dorothy Patton.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Bob Achey and Pastor Kevin S. Bockus officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.
