Ruth Wright

Ruth N. Wright, 81, of Clearfield died on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

She was born on January 6, 1943 in Grampian, a daughter of the late Oliver and Lucy (Walburn) Welder.

Ruth retired as a housekeeper, working for countless people and families in there area. She also had a joy for quilting and loved to spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Rachau and husband Ed of Pleasant Gap; a granddaughter, Ariel Christine and husband Luke of Tyrone; a grandson, Joshua Shaw and wife Robin of Ricon, GA; two great granddaughters, Lyla and Avarie; a sister, Louise Welder of Grampian; a brother, Paul Welder of DuBois; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Welder of Grampian and Linda Welder of Puyallup, WA;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Samuel Welder; and an infant sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Riverview Bible Church, Clearfield on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Wood Cemetery, Grampian.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Riverview Bible Church, 12 South Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
