Sally A. Withey, 75, of Woodland passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
She was born on November 11, 1947, a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Shaffer) Bunnell.
Sally graduated from Curwensville High School in 1966. She worked at Target Sportswear then Appalachian Wood Products where she later retired from. She enjoyed cooking, going to yard sales, and mostly spending time with her family.
She was a member of Hyde Volunteer Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Sally was Methodist by faith
She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Rose and husband Brian of Woodland; two grandchildren, Michael Rose and Matt Rose; two great-grandchildren, Kerrie and Evelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Withey in 1996. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Bunnell and Joseph Bunnell.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Hyde Volunteer Fire Company on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1-3 PM.
