Samuel C. Cutler, 59, of Allport died on Friday, December 29, 2006 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on March 13, 1947 in Clearfield, a son of the late Paul and Lillian (Irwin) Cutler.
Mr. Cutler was employed at Max Silvers and Sons in Erie and also worked as a coal miner.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Martell) Cutler, whom he wed June 3, 1978 in Erie; four children, Beverly Howell and husband Rich of Goshen, Christine Pike and husband Jesse of Clearfield, Diane Cutler and fiance Larry of Shawville, and Samuel Cutler of Allport; two step-sons, Brian Houdeshell and wife Vanessa of Munson and Steven Martell and wife Rhenna of Clearfield; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willard Cutler and John Cutler, both of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Cutler and Pauline Wilkerson and three brothers, Burton, Robert and Howard Cutler.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Duane A. White officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from
Noon - 2:00 PM.
