Samuel D. Daub Sr., 66

of Curwensville and formerly of Grampian died on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at Clearfield Hospital.

He was born on September 11, 1937 in Clearfield, a son of the late Gilbert R. and Goldie (McCracken) Daub.

Mr. Daub was employed by Target Sportswear for thirty six years. Prior to that he worked for Bell Telephone and Dumont Airplane.
He was a member of the Greenville Church of the Brethren.

On February 16, 1966 in Cumberland, MD he wed the former Mary C. Irwin who survives along with three children,
Chris A. Daub and wife Donna Curwensville
Cathy Mahlon and husband Harold Mahlon, Jr. Grampian
Barbara Kline and husband Donald Kline, Jr. Grampian

five grandchildren,
David G. and Heidi S. Mahlon, Kayla J., Aaron W. and Ashley N. Kline

two brothers,
John Daub and wife Beverly Clearfield
Gilbert Daub Morrisdale

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Samuel D. Daub, Jr., on August 15, 1987, two brothers Don and Harold Daub and two sisters Betty Lenhart and Sara Graham.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Saturday at
1:00 pm with Rev. Roger A. McBride officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday from
4-8:00 pm and Saturday 12-1:00 pm.
