Sandra L. Halenar, 'Sandy Blake', 69, of Clearfield died on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on October 15, 1946 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late James H. and Mary E. (Mitchell) Blake.
Ms. Halenar had most recently been employed by Helpmates of Clearfield. Prior to that, she had worked at Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville as a Nurse's Aide and also been employed at Kent Sportswear for sixteen years and McGregors for ten years.
She is survived by her son, Richard Scott Halenar of Denver, CO; a brother, James Michael Blake and wife Sue C. of Baldwin, MI; a nephew, Chad Michael Blake of Lapel, IN; and numerous cousins.
There will be no public services held.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield or to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield .
