Sandra L. Picard, 70, of Frenchville died on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born on March 10, 1945 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Hilary and Stella (Moore) Picard.
She graduated from the Western PA School for the Deaf in 1965 and was employed at Pennshire Clothing Factory. She was also a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Frenchville.
She is survived by a sister, Patricia Barger and husband Harold of Frenchville; a brother William Picard and wife Darlene of Morrisdale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hilary, Francis and Robert Picard; and two sisters, Marjorie Mayhue and Alice Benton.
Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville on Monday at 11 AM with Father Philip Billotte as celebrant. Interment be follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield or to the St. Marys Catholic Church, PO Box 159, Frenchville, PA 16836.
