Sarah E. Harman, 82, of Curwensville died on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at her residence.
She was born on March 25, 1923 in Bloomington, a daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (Rowles) Wingard.
Mrs. Harman was a homemaker and a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Galen Harman and his wife Vicki of Howe, IN, Garry Harman, of Curwensville, Glenda Steffe and husband William of Sewell, NJ of Gail Harman, of Erie, and Gloria Dougherty and her husband Rev. Bill Dougherty of Deptford, NJ; 8 grandchildren, and a brother, Byron Wingard of Curwensville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Harman, on December 3, 2001 and whom she wed April 13, 1946 in Curwensville, two brothers and two sisters, Lowry Wingard, Mervyn Wingard, Dole Levin and Elma Geddes.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Arlene P. Beechert officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of ones choice.
