Sarah O. Pyle, 85
of Wallaceton and formerly of Hyde, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the Philipsburg Area Hospital.
She was born on July 31, 1917 in Hyde, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Eliza (Beach) Brown.
Mrs. Pyle was a homemaker and formerly attended the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by two children,
Janet English and husband James Wallaceton
David Pyle and wife Shirley Houtzdale
four grandsons and four great-grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David B. Pyle, on May 21, 1998 and whom she married May 17, 1943 and these sisters and brother Pearl Smith, Mary Hoyt, Fannie Heitsenrether, Henry J. Brown and Alice Clark.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Robert Croft officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4:00 & 6-8:00 PM and on Friday from 10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice
