Selena Anthony

Selena M. Anthony, 56, of Grampian died on Friday, June 9, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born on October 29, 1966 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Richard and Eileen (Thomas) Anthony.

Selena was currently employed at Novey's Recycling in Clearfield. Prior, she had worked at Tractor Supply and Rural King. She loved cooking and canning and all types of gardening. She enjoyed being outside and working the farm. Selena was also very successful with showing rabbits. She was Protestant by faith.

She is survived by her son, Doug Maines of Grampian; an aunt, Elaine Smith of Monroe, NC; and uncle, Wayne Thomas and wife Beverly; an aunt, Kaye Thomas of Reynoldsville; Selena's fiance, Tom Leonard of Grampian, and numerous cousins and other family members.

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville on Wednesday at 11 AM with Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.
