Seymour J. Haag, 85
of 4637 Splashdam Road, Grampian died on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at his residence.
He was born on April 3, 1919 in Grampian a son of the late Martin and Ida (Danver) Haag.
Mr. Haag retired as a surface coal miner having been employed with various mining operations throughout the area.
He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian and the Holy Name Society. Mr. Haag was also a social member of the Grampian American Legion and the DuBois Loyal Order of the Moose.
He is survived by eight children,

and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Catherine Haag, on April 11, 2004 and whom he married October 23, 1937, a daughter in law Nana Haag, a son in law Thomas Dilts, a grandson Dennis E. Jones, and a great grandson Todd Rae Titler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian on Monday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. Joseph K. Bobal officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
A Christian vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:00 PM.
