Shirley Grace Freeman, 85, of Olanta died on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on March 4, 1938 in Hawk Run, a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Whiles) Conklin.
Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clearfield where she was a Deaconess and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Womens's Missionary. She also served on the Mission Board. Mrs. Freeman also had a love of animals, having pet dogs, cats, and goats throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her husband, Marlin 'Bud' H. Freeman whom she wed December 22, 1957 in Hawk Run; three children, Marlin E. Freeman and wife Kathy of Ramey, Mark H. Freeman and wife Alicia of Luthersburg, and Valerie B. Hooven and husband Jerold of Olanta; five grandchildren, Derek Freeman and wife Jen, Katie Pinto and husband Randy, Eric Hooven, Craig Hooven, Jerrika Lingle and husband Matthew, and Chelsea Raybuck and husband Sebastian; 18 great grandchildren; and her beloved poodle, Holly
As per Mrs. Freeman's wishes, there will be no public services observed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church, 111 N. Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 .
