Shirley I. McMasters, 86, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born on October 1, 1928 in Burnside, a daughter of the late Norman and Zada (Long) Hollen.
Mrs. McMasters was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, playing computer games and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Diana McMasters of Clearfield and Jeanette Sunderland and husband Pat of Rockton; four grandchildren, Renee, Yvonne, David, and Michelle; seven great grandchildren; five sisters, Patricia Walls of Altoona, Georganna Reigs of Altoona, Charlotte Brink of Glen Campbell, Kitty McGarvey of Burnside and Doris Jean of Florida; and a daughter-in-law, Beverly McMasters of Punxsutawney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. McMasters on December 14, 2000 and whom she wed April 5, 1946 in Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by a son, David McMasters on April 5, 2014; three sisters, Marjorie Hollen, Mary Edna Baldwin and Lorna Bell Miller; and a brother, William Hollen.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Fairview Baptist Cemetery, LaJose.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice.
