Sophie Helen Radzieta, 88

of Curwensville RD died on Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the home of her daughter, Lucy R. Lee after a short illness.

She was born on January 2, 1917 in Bakerton, PA, a daughter of the late Vincent and Kathryn (Kaczmarczyk) Geneva.

On May 10, 1932 she wed Jacob John Radzieta and moved from Bakerton to Penn Township.

She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian and the Polish National Alliance.

She is survived by these children,
Matilda A. Colt and husband Ernest of Bridgeton, NJ
John L. Radzieta and wife Anna of Cape May Court House, NJ
Patricia K. Puzzuto and husband William of Curwensville
Lucy R. Lee and husband David of Curwensville
Christine J. Radzieta of Grampian

11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren

and a brother
Joseph Geneva of Port Richey, FL

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband a grandson, David A. Colt, four brothers, Raymond, Lewis, Frank and Leo Geneva and a sister Mary Benamati.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Grampian on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. Joseph K. Bobal as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM

On Wednesday at the funeral home, the Rosary will be recited at 3:00 PM by the members of the St. Bonaventure's Ladies Guild.
