of Treasure Lake, DuBois died on Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at DuBois Regional Medical Center - West.
She was born on January 1, 1956 in Clearfield, PA, a daughter of Lorana (Hallock) Hipps of Clearfield and the late John E. Hipps.
Miss Hipps was currently residing with Lake Shore Community Living in Treasure Lake and attended LifeSkills in DuBois. She was formerly with the Laurelton Center in Lewisburg and was baptized in the Presbyterian faith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by seven brothers and sisters,
Barbara Lewis and husband Thomas St. Mary's
Merlyn Knepp and husband Gerald Tracy, CA
Janice Rowles and husband Donald Clearfield
Richard Hipps and wife Mary Lou Clearfield
William Hipps and wife Carole Punxsutawney
Jackie Anderson and husband Brian Frenchville
John Hipps and wife Rhonda Mifflinville
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at
11:00 A.M. with Dr. Douglas S. Pride officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8:00 PM and on Saturday from
10-11:00 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield County Society for Handicapped/Disabled Citizens, 335 E. Locust Street, Clearfield or to the charity of one's choice.
