Thomas P. Bougher, 70

of 312 W. Fifth Avenue, Clearfield died on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Clearfield Hospital.

He was born on July 19, 1933 in Barnesboro a son of the late Grant and Ursula (McCarty) Bougher.

Mr. Bougher retired as a rural mail carrier from the US Postal Service in 1995 after 21 years of service.
He was a member of Central District Volunteer Firemen’s Association, the Volunteer Firemen’s Association of Cambria County and Vicinty and the Clearfield Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #540.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served in the US Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Marian E. (McManus) Bougher, whom he married January 25, 1964 in Cherry Tree.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Edward V., John, William and James R. Bougher and sisters Jane Bougher and Louise Bougher.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 7:00 P.M. with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will be in the Uniontown Cemetery, Indiana County, PA.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4:00 P.M.
