Thomas D. Gladfelter, 64, of Hyde died on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home.
He was born on November 27, 1956 in Clearfield, a son of the late Chester and Anna (Withey) Gladfelter.
Tom was a local contractor and worked with various contractors throughout the years. He was very social and enjoyed talking to people. He knew everyone and would help anyone that needed it. Tom loved his daughters and grandchildren dearly, and he always made sure they had what they needed.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie L. (Swatsworth) Gladfelter whom he wed March 26, 1977; three daughters, Janette Peacock and husband Matthew of Olanta, Christina Frantz and husband Stacy of Clearfield, and Kathy Clark and husband Gary Jr. of Clearfield; six grandchildren, Riley Casher, Gary Clark, III, Brooklyn Frantz, Katie Peacock, Cody Clark, and Connor Peacock; a great-grandson, Greyson; four brothers, Denny Clark of Clearfield, Chester Clark of Grampian, Jimmy Gladfelter of Glen Richey, and Rob Gladfelter of Glen Richey; a sister, Shirley Killion of Irvona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Donald Alan Gladfelter.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday at 1 PM with Pastor Louis Stubbs III officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10 AM - 1 PM.
