Thomas A. Wilsoncroft, Sr. 65, of Clearfield died on Monday, July 30, 2007 at his residence.
He was born on September 12, 1941 in West Decatur, a son of the late Roger B. and Verda M. (Parks) Wilsoncroft.
Mr. Wilsoncroft was employed by several area mining companies including Stoker's Mine, Rushton Mine and Lady Jane Mine. He also worked in Wheeling, WV.
He was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812, the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785 and the Clearfield Sons of Italy Lodge.
He is survived by four children, Thomas A. Wilsoncroft, Jr. and wife Kim of West Decatur, Bryan L. Wilsoncroft of Clearfield, Trudy J. Derr and husband Alan of Lancaster, Nicole R. Wilsoncroft and fiance Mike Hullihen of Clearfield; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters, Roger B. Wilsoncroft, Jr. and wife Mona of Tiverton, RI, Robert G. 'Wedge' Wilsoncroft and companion Darlene Luzier of Glen Richey, Gloria Ann Woods and husband Milford of West Decatur, Remona Jean Daub and companion Glenn Gearhart of Curwensville, Ethel Brocious and husband John of Highland City, FL and Barbara Hutton and husband Ray of Philipsburg; a half sister, Mary Jane Lockett of Oil City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Walter 'Red' Wilsoncroft and George B. Wilsoncroft, a sister in law Diane Wilsoncroft and his former wife Cora Wilsoncroft on January 15, 1998.
Memorial services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor W. Lee Casher officiating. Interment will follow in the Stoneville Cemetery, Clearfield RD.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 9-11:00 AM.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 AM.
