Tracey Lora (Young) Elliott of Lakeport, CA went to meet the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2010.
She was born on September 8, 1964 in St. Marys, a daughter of Thomas L. and Judith A. (Mohr) Young of Clearfield.
She married Wallace Kowalski, II on September 3, 1983. She then married Geoff Elliott on July 13, 1999 in Winter Park, Orlando, FL, and who resides in Lakeport, CA.
She graduated from the Curwensville Christian Academy in 1981 as valedictorian of her class. She was in "Who's Who Among American High School Students" and attended computer classes. She lived in Clearfield during her childhood and high school. She had also lived in Tyrone, Orlando, FL, and most recently, in Lakeport, CA.
Tracey loved to read, make jewelry and write, having been a published author.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her only son Wallace Edward Kowalski, III of Sequin, TX; a sister and a brother, Beth O'Shell of Syracuse, NY and Travis Young of Clearfield; and a niece and nephew Shannon and Sean O'Shell.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Mary (Andrus) Young and Edward and Clara (Gardner) Mohr from St. Marys.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at
11 AM with Layman David Knepp officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from
10-11 AM.
