Viola D. Eamigh, 87, of Woodland died on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on November 10, 1923 in Woodland, a daughter of the late Urey and Rae (Irwin) Dixon.
Mrs. Eamigh was a homemaker. She was Christian by faith.
She is survived by two children, John Eamigh, III and wife Carol and Peggy Materkowski both of Woodland; three grandsons, John Eamigh, IV and wife Amy of Woodland, Brad Eamigh and wife Amanda of Woodland and Ronald Eamigh and wife Melissa of Frenchville; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Marcelean Jury of Somerset and Lela Park and husband Bob of Ohio; two sister-in-laws, Joan Dixon of Jennerstown and Janice Dixon of Woodland and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Eamigh, Jr. on December 8, 2003 and whom she married May 19, 1941, four brothers Russell, Samuel, Marshall 'Abe' and Boyd Dixon and a sister Josephine Dixon.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home on Monday at 11 AM with the Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
At the request of Mrs. Eamigh, there will be no public visitation.
