Viola Notor Colavecchi Zurro, 94
of Fort Lauderdale, FL died on Monday, March 28, 2005 at her residence.
She was born on October 25, 1910 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Janello) Notor.
Mrs. Zorro was employed with the PA Railroad in Whitestone, NY. Following her retirement she moved to Florida and became a real estate agent.
She was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church of Delray Beach, FL.
A graduate of St. Francis High School, Clearfield she also attended Villa Maria College in Erie.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Colavecchi and wife Joan (Natoli)of Clearfield,
three grandchildren,
Joseph Michael Colavecchi, Jr., Mary Margaret O'Keefe and Paul Charles Colavecchi
four great grandchildren,
Michaela Colavecchi, Samantha O'Keefe, Carly Jay Colavecchi and Joseph Cross Colavecchi
a brother,
Richard Notor of Hammonton, NJ
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Colavecchi and her second husband Leo L. Zurro, and these brothers and sisters, John Notor, Thressa Mitchell, Frank Notor, David Notor, Margaret Hodgson, Joseph Notor and James Notor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 8:30 PM.
