Violet L. Billotte, 85

of Frenchville died on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on June 5, 1917 in Frenchville, a daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Royer) Valimont.

Mrs. Billotte was formerly employed with the Quehanna Covington Karthaus Area Water Authority for 28 years.
She was a charter member of both the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Club Auxiliary and the Frenchville Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of which she was past president. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frenchville, the Altar and Rosary Society and was past master of the Frenchville Grange.

She is survived by two children,

one grandson and step grandson,

four sisters and two brothers,

numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Florence Billotte on August 10, 1989 and whom she married June 1, 1946 in Frenchville, a son Thomas A. Billotte in October of 1989, sisters Ethel Dunlap and Marian Hess and brothers Clyde, Richard, Bernard and Lawrence Valimont.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frenchville on Wednesday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Samuel G. Bungo as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from
2-5 & 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 9 until 10:00 AM.

At the funeral home on Tuesday, the VFW Auxiliary memorial service will be said at 3:00 PM and the rosary will be recited at 8:30 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Frenchville.
