Violet L. "Bucky" Renaud, 77, of Clearfield died on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside Hospital.
She was born on January 21, 1930 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Mabie) Irwin.
Mrs. Renaud was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Levon F. 'Red' Renaud, Sr., whom she wed July 22, 1954 in Frenchville; four children, Mary Swanson and husband Dennis of Mineral Springs, Francis Smeal and husband Terence of Morrisdale RD, Levon Renaud, Jr. and companion Bonnie Stiner of Clearfield and Donna Stark and husband Thomas of Woodland; nine grandchildren, Robin Miller and husband Ken of Woodland, Nicole Skelly of Massachusetts, Billie Jo Smeal of Morrisdale, RD, Brittany Stark of Woodland, Alicia Miller of Clearfield, Luke Miller of Clearfield, Kayla Smeal of Clearfield, Kim Smeal of Clearfield and Megan Smeal of Clearfield; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Levon Renaud, III, three brothers Jim, Bill and Frank Irwin, and four sisters Nellie Maney, Cloe Parks, Hattie Drew, and Lillian Liddick.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
