Virginia L. DeCasper-Taylor, 80, of Clearfield died on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.
She was born on December 2, 1940 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Dominic and Theresa (Allessandro) DeCasper.
Virginia graduated from St. Francis High School in 1959 and had been employed at the former Cowdricks Drug Store, which later became Clearfield Pharmacy, for 40 years.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield
She is survived by two brothers, Sam DeCasper and wife Sandy of Douglas, GA, and Anthony DeCasper and wife Shari of Clearfield; a sister-in-law, Judy DeCasper of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Taylor; four sisters, Angela Mary Giordano, Lucy Kelly, Gloria Young, and Rita Maines; and a brother, Joseph DeCasper.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield with Fr. Brandon Kleckner as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Catholic Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
