Virginia Wilkinson

Virginia M. Wilkinson, 87

of Curwensville died on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.

She was born on April 29, 1920 in South Fork, a daughter of the late Howard W. and Verna K. (Weimert) Miller.

Mrs. Wilkinson was a homemaker and was protestant by faith.

She is survived by seven children, Carol Eckley and husband James of Glendale, Ellen Coulter and husband Robert of Curwensville, Virginia Spencer and husband Randy of Curwensville, Richard Wilkinson and wife Julie of Tucson, AZ, Lawrence Wilkinson and wife Debra of DuBois, Lester Wilkinson and wife Patricia of Hummelstown, Frank Wilkinson, Jr. and wife Annette of Clearfield,

15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren,

two sisters and a brother, Ruth Dunlap of Allemans, Grace Davies of Towson, MD, Galen Miller of Randallstown, MD

and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Wilkinson, Sr., on November 9, 1997 and whom she married September 5, 1938, a son Glenn Wilkinson, sisters, Kathryn Zupon and Thelma Thomas and brothers, Clair, Robert, Clyde, Bruce, Randall and Gerald Miller.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday at
2:00 P.M. with Pastor Scott Schultz and Rev. Daniel T. Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Friday from 1-2:00 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville Presbyterian Church; Faith Bible Church, Curwensville; and Beaver Valley United Methodist Church, Flinton.
