Virginia M. Wilson, 92, formerly of Bells Landing and most recently of Clearfield, died on Monday, November 18, 2024, at home.
She was born on March 15, 1932 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Adrian and Margaret (Johnston) Zorger.
She graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1950. Mrs. Wilson was employed for 15 years at the former Clearfield County Cheese, Curwensville and then had cleaned for numerous businesses and homes, well into her late 70's. She attended First Baptist Church, Curwensville. In her free time, Mrs. Wilson enjoyed tending to her flower beds, gardening, and mowing her yard. She especially enjoyed time at her park along the river in Bells Landing, and taking a brisk walk up the hill.
She is survived by six children, Irene Kelly of Bells Landing, Paul Wilson of Cherry Corner, Carol Wilson of Bells Landing, Dan Wilson and wife Sheri of Glen Allen, VA, Sandra Neeper and husband Richard of Curwensville, and Janet Wilson of Salem, OH; grandchildren, Melissa Hartzell and husband Joe, Neil Irwin, Danielle Whitlow and husband Trey, Jeni Paul and husband Phillip, Holly Sanson and husband Jay, Terry Simon and husband Justin, Lee Neeper and wife Kacey, Jared Neeper and wife Kaitlyn, Jessica Maney and husband Justin, Tad Polites, and Casey Polites and fiance Justin Case; eighteen great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Myrtle Zorger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Amos L. Wilson; a brother, Glen Zorger; her twin brother, Donald Zorger and his late wife Alma; and a son-in-law, John Kelly.
A service will be held for the family at a later date. Her ashes will be returned to the river she loved, and lived by, her whole life.
