Vivian A. Duckett, 84, of Clearfield died on Monday, July 30, 2007 at DuBois Regional Medical Center - West.

She was born on May 5, 1923 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Lelia (Boal) Lawhead.

Mrs. Duckett was a homemaker.
She was previously employed at the Sylvania Plant in Emporium during WW II and later for Leitzinger Department Store in Clearfield.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, the Coterie Club, the Senior Swimmers at the Clearfield YMCA and a charter member of the Keystone Travel Trailer Club.

She is survived by her husband, Richard M. Duckett, with whom she recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. They were married July 4, 1945 in Clearfield.

She is further survived by four daughters, Phyllis Jean Rode and husband Dave of Kissimmee, FL, Bonnie Kaye Morgan and husband Bill of Clearfield, Peggy Sue Hebrank and husband Wayne of Pleasant Unity and Jan Marie Cowder and husband Lonnie of Clearfield; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Narby and Geneva Kelson; and three brothers, Donald, Bob and Theryll Lawhead. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Joseph C. Campbell as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9:00 PM and on Thursday from 9-9:30 AM.

A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:45 PM.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
