Vivian F. Smith, 92, of Clearfield, died on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born on November 9, 1928 in Janesville, a daughter of the late Theodore Delfosse and Mary (Soupart) Delfosse Stewart.
Mrs. Smith was employed by Guy and Mary Felt Manor of Emporium for four years and prior to that at Grove House, Inc. for ten years and also Cameron Manufacturing for eight years.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Clearfield, the United Methodist Women and the RSVP.
She is survived by two daughters, Billie Rae Conklin of Clearfield and Cheryl Lynn Smith and husband Carl of York; five grandchildren, Tracy Szczypinkski, Danielle Yontosh, Joseph Jeffries, Cody Conklin and wife Kristina, and Aaron Conklin; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Stewart of Smithmill; and three sisters, Patricia Lender of Smithmill, Frances English of Emporium, and Carol Heverly of Ramey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Frank Stewart; a daughter, Mary Ellen Socoski; and two brothers, Theodore 'Teddy' Delfosse and Emile 'Tom' Stewart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1 PM with Pastor TJ McCabe officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 PM- 1 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church 121 South Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
