Wallace Ray Duttry, 81

of Curwensville died on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his home.

He was born on August 1, 1934 in Curwensville, a son of the late Lloyd and Maida E. (Straw) Duttry.

Wally was employed as a mason for various companies around the Clearfield area. After that, he worked for ten years as a gas well tender for Eastern American Energy in Indiana, PA until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and in his later years, golfing.
He was Baptist by faith.

He truly loved all his family and is survived by his wife, Joanne R. (Rishel) Duttry whom he wed August 12, 1955 in Curwensville; three children, Genny Beth Evans and husband Mark of Danville, Martin Ray Duttry and wife Lisa of Olanta, David Edward Duttry and wife Penny of Washington, DC; two grandsons, Joshua Ray Duttry and Lucas Adam Duttry; three step grandchildren, Joshua Williams, Derrik Holmes and Linsay Holmes; and a brother, Leslie 'Bud' Duttry and wife Peggy of Curwensville.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville with Rev. William 'Bill' Duttry officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Faith Bible Church, 398 Grandview Road, Curwensville or to the charity of one's choice.
