Wendy Leila Eiler, 67, of Punxsutawney died on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Jefferson Manor, Brookville.
She was born on March 29, 1955 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Edward and Isabelle Kromer.
Mrs. Eiler worked for the Pennsylvania State Government for over 20 years. She started at Cooks Forest State Park and then moved to the Department of Public Welfare in Punxsutawney as a Case Worker and then Supervisor, retiring on August 14, 2009. She enjoyed rabbit husbandry, crochet, cross-stitch, online gaming and time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Eiler of Punxsutawney; two daughters, Amber Kromer of Quakertown and Martha Eaton of Strattanville, one grandson, Connor Rupp of Strattanville; four sisters; and one brother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers.
In honor of Mrs. Eiler's wishes, there will be no public services observed at this time.
