After a lengthy and hard fought illness and surrounded by his cherished family, Willard F. 'Woody' Cutler of Clearfield, entered his heavenly home at 4:15 PM, April 14, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born on November 10, 1938 in Curwensville, a son of the late Robert and Lillian (Irwin) Cutler.
Mr. Cutler retired from the Walmart Distribution Center and had previously been employed at Clearfield Equipment and Piper Aircraft. He enjoyed gardening and sports, especially baseball, and was an avid wrestling fan. He also served as a Cub Scout leader for years.
Woody was affiliated with Kerr Addition United Methodist Church, Clearfield.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Kinkead) Cutler whom he wed January 10, 1960; six children, Lauren Francisco and husband Michael of Clearfield, Michelle Anderson and companion Duane Pataky of Clearfield, Willard 'Crash' Cutler, Jr. and companion Dana Jarrett of Houtzdale, Wade Cutler and wife Kelli of Duncannon, Megan Bergman and husband Kelley of Quincy, MI and Kelly Bietz and husband Rob of Clearfield; nine grandchildren, Joshua Francisco and wife Sarah, Jenna Francisco, Cameron and Cassidy Cutler, Alli Cutler, Preslie and Payten Bergman, Chase and Karli Bietz; a great grandson, Nolan Francisco; and a brother, John Cutler of Clearfield. Woody had a special love for traveling with his family as will be missed by his dog, Munchkin, which was his long time fury companion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Burton, Robert, Howard and Samuel Cutler; and two sisters Jessie Cutler and Pauline Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark S. Brower officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM and on Thursday from 10-11 AM.
