Willard A. Plubell, 74
of Frenchville died on Sunday, January 12, 2003 at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster.
He was born on November 8, 1928 in Frenchville, PA, a son of the late Edmund and Emma (Hugney) Plubell.
Mr. Plubell, along with his brother Victor, owned and operated Quehanna Hardwood until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville and the Mosquito Creek Sportsmens Club.
He served with the US Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of the Leigey Renaud Post #8386 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Frenchville.
On February 3, 1950 in Clearfield, he wed the former Ann M. Fenush who survives along with two children,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Mike Plubell and two brothers, Wilfred 'Windy' Plubell and Eugene J. Plubell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Mary Catholic Church, Frenchville on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Samuel G. Bungo as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Frenchville VFW Post.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from
2-4 & 7-9 PM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 PM.
