William 'Bill' Gabrielson

William R. 'Bill' Gabrielson, 78, of Morrisdale died on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehab Center, Curwensville.

He was born on April 4, 1944 in Coalport, a son of Richard 'Dick' and Elsie (Taylor) Gabrielson.

Bill spent many years as a mechanic and then later worked for Penelec doing mobile maintenance. Upon retirement, he became a snowbird and spent the last 19 winters in Florida. He enjoyed hunting, watching boxing, and rooting for PSU Football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also loved showing his antique cars at shows.

He was a member of the Mosquito Creek Sportsman's Club, and his home owner's association in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Connie (Humphrey) Gabrielson whom he wed August 5, 1963; his mother, Elsie M. Gabrielson; two sons, Richard William Gabrielson and wife Bobbi Jo, and Ronald L. Gabrielson and wife Kelly; four grandchildren, Zachery Gabrielson and wife Chelsey, Megan Stout, Logan Gabrielson, and Rylee Gabrielson; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Caroline Gabrielson, and Emma Jean Stout; a sister, Linda Stephens; and a brother, Terry Gabrielson and wife Beth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard 'Dick' Gabrielson.

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Wednesday February 1, 2023 at 1 PM with Pastor Julia Piper officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM - 1 PM.
