William 'Bill' Korb

William E. 'Bill' Korb, 76, of Woodland died on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his home.
He was born on March 9, 1947 in Grampian, a son of the late Charles and Relon (Shelton) Korb.
Bill drove truck for many years before starting his own yard service business. When he wasn't working, he loved hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, reading and spending time with his family, friends and animals.
He was a member of the Clearfield Moose Lodge 97.
Mr. Korb served with the U. S. Navy in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by three children, Brian Steele and wife Nancy, Scott Korb-Steele, and Lisa Korb Lonicki and husband Brian; five grandchildren, Alexander 'Franky' Steele and wife Meegan, Ashley Steele, Christian Rios, Alison Lonicki, and Kristin Lonicki; a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rizzo; and two brothers, Robert Korb and wife Anna, and Joseph Korb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Sprouse) Korb on September 1, 2003 and whom he wed June 3, 1971 in Virginia Beach, VA.
Honoring Bill's wishes, there will be no public services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
