William Boyd Peters, 61, of Woodland, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home.
He was born on February 29, 1956 in Philipsburg, a son of the late Boyd and Althea Peters.
Bill has been employed by Butler Trucking since 1975. He loved farming, antique tractors and especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
He was a member of Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland.
He is survived by his daughter, Maridawn Shirey and husband Ryan of Woodland; two granddaughters, Mattie and Raylee Shirey; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 PM & Monday from 10- 11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield or the Lake Street United Methodist Church, 115 Lake Street, Woodland.
