Yvonne Murphy Caldwell, 76, formerly of Woodland Road, Clearfield died on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on August 20, 1929 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Amelia Chestnut (Kirk) Murphy and step daughter of the late Elizabeth Murphy.
Mrs. Caldwell was a member of the St. John Baptist Church and was a 1945 graduate of Clearfield High School.
She was employed by the former Airplane Marine, the former Shortway Products and also was a caretaker for Mrs. James Nevling.
She is survived by four sons, William F. 'Sonny' Caldwell of KY, Dennis Caldwell of Bradenton Beach, FL, Cliff Caldwell of Clearfield, John T. Caldwell of Clearfield, a granddaughter, five grandsons, a great granddaughter,
five sisters and a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Georgette Caldwell and three sisters, Leona (Kitty) Pickett, Ella White and Bernice Carey.
A memorial service will be held at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Frank Hutton officiating.
The Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
