All my love to all of the Royer Ladies and their families. I remember when I met Mr. Royer for the first time. He didn't know what to make of me. He was skeptical of the friend that Nikki brought home from college. I was fondly known as Nikki's friend from the city or the "City Slicker." He asked me a few questions then went back to doing his work. I thought that maybe he didn't like me because I was so different. I wore him down in time when he saw that I was a genuine friend to his daughter. He was a fine man. I remember when Todd and Nikki got married and he told me that I was going to ride in the hay wagon. That surely got a chuckle out of him...the "city slicker" in a hay wagon! He definitely sparkled that day! He will never be forgotten. I hope and pray that your memories give you peace and comfort in such a difficult time. Rest in Peace, Mr. Royer. Godspeed!
